Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Penygawse Victorian Tearooms when visting Llandovery for a wedding.
Once we arrived we were directed to the free parking spaces and then shown straight to our room. We did not have to check in and it was very informal. We were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast and there did not seem to be a restriction on when we were to check out the following morning. This was very handy considering we were probably going to have a late night.
The room was not the largest I have stayed in but it was adequate for a weekend. It was very clean and modern with white walls and bedlinen. Not a floral curtain in site. The room was equipped with a CD player and a DVD player - again this was surprising for a small town B&B.
The en-suite was amazing. It was nearly the size of the main room with a two man shower cubicle with the best shower I have ever had. It was a tower shower which had two heads and it also had nozzles directing water... more
