Wonderful location right on the Quayside next to the Harbourmaster Gastro Pub. Stylish tastefully renovated and decorated historic building with extremely clean and comfortable guest rooms. Lesley is very helpful friendly and welcoming. Great attention to detail and great breakfasts with plenty of choices.

We just spent 3 nights at 3 Pen Cei, and what a wonderful place it is. Fabulous location right on the harbour, gorgeous room and wonderful hosts. We were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. The bed was the biggest and comfiest I have ever slept in!

The best guest house i have ever stayed in by a long way.The bedroom i stayed in had a view of the harbour and was spacious with an ensuite that was pristine and decorated to a high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable with best cotton linen. More generally, the place had a relaxing and tastful atmosphere. The breakfast was... More

Stayed here several times before and it never fails to impress. Just love this hotel and the area and can't wait to return. Breakfast is especially good. Also had dinner next door in the Harbour Master, again really good and a lovely atmosphere.

The moment we arrived and John welcomed us with tea and welshcakes, was the start of a great weekend. 3 Pen Cei is a lovely treat with great rooms and delicious breakfasts. Lesley and John are brilliant hosts and seemed really happy to chat and give us advice on the local area. If we could afford the luxury of the... More

Everything about our stay was perfect. From Lesley's warm welcome (including freshly brewed tea & warm welsh cakes on arrival) to our luxurious & VERY spacious room (we stayed in Aeron) to the DELICIOUS breakfasts cooked by John (that set us up for the whole day) to the flasks of tea provided for our coastal walks (recommended by Lesley) -... We have just enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at this lovely friendly B&B and cannot fault it. We were made to feel very welcome. On arrival our bags were taken to our room on the top floor. The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend the fresh fruit salad for breakfast. Just gorgeous!! As was the... More

Beautiful guesthouse overlooking the harbour at Aberaeron. The attention to detail is wonderful and the service excellent. We stayed in the Aeron room, which was elegant with quality furnishings, and the view of the harbour through the cottage window was lovely. Pen Cei is not cheap but it is great value for money and outclasses any 5 star hotel. The... More

Our second stay in the Ystwyth room in 18 months. Again; very comfortable, very hospitable, very tasty breakfast, very good location. What more do you want? Strongly recommend. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Aberaeron, which is a great base to explore the Ceredigion coastline and countryside.
