Everything about our stay at Maelgwyn House was perfect. From the first contact via email the experience was excellent. The rooms are very comfortable & missing nothing. Fantastic location for Harlech & the beach. Would highly recommend & we will definatly return. The owners have given a lot of thought to what makes a comfortable experience. More

Myself and My Fiance stopped at Maelgwyn House last March for what i thought was just a break away but turned out to be our engagement weekend. Maelgwyn place has to be one of the best if not the best B&B's me and Chris have stayed in. Two of the reasons are Bridget and Derek. We was meant to stay... More

Having stayed at Maelgwyn House for a few days at the beginning of December 2011, we would be only to happy to highly recommend Bridget and Derek's wonderful hospitality in their lovely B&B. Our room was beautiful overlooking the bay and Harlech Castle, with Mount Snowdon in the distance we couldn't have asked for a better view, our breakfast was... More

Bridget and Derek are superb hosts and Maelgwyn House has a lovely atmosphere. The room was first class and the veiws of the bay and Harlech Castle from the bedroom window were superb. Breakfast was wonderful - especially the crispy bacon, and if you love Marmite you'll be keen to know that there is a lovely pot waiting for you!... More

We stayed at Maelgwyn for five nights in the twin bedded room on the top floor, it was spotlessly clean, the ensuite was roomy and had a hot towel rail which was lovely. The room was well kitted out and very comfortable. Derek and Bridget were very friendly and welcoming, they were a great help advising us on good places... More

This B&B is really lovely. Both Derek and Bridget are very friendly and helpful and can't do enough for you. Both the Full Welsh Breakfast and Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs is delicious and the rooms are clean, well decorated and really homely. The location is lovely and the views from the rooms at the front of the house are... More

Our 3 night stay in room 2 was very enjoyable. The room itself was well set out and had everything you need, ie somewhere to put your toilet bags, hooks on back of the door, good wardrobe and good lighting. The towels were of a good size and warm due to the efficient towel rail. The views were stunning, we... More

We stayed here with our daughter and her boyfriend, during August 2011 for 2 nights, chose this B & B because of its reviews, most of the reviews are excellent but form our point of view we would rate it as between average to very good, due to a few reasons, firstly the we had the sea view room which... What a view from Bedroom 1, sunset was breathtaking especially over the dunes of Royal St Davids Golf course.! Fantastic B&B. Real thought has been given to the interior design, artwork everywhere. The ensuite, particulalrly, had a real mediteranean feel. The breakfast was lovely and the welcome friendly and informative. I would have no hesitation in recommending Maelgwyn to anyone. More
