The photograph of the house, was obviously taken when it had been tidied up outside. Not quite the same now. Read the reviews of how lovely the house and contents were, erm, disappointed comes to mind. Breakfast was good, however, would I stay again?. . . No.

The couple who run this B&B run it more as a hobby than a business, so as long as you fit in with them, you'll have a good stay. Grounds, rooms and breakfast were all lovely. However we had a small disagreement over what B&B should provide - a front door key - and ended up with the lady shouting... More

The very moment we arrived Alan was at the door to greet us. A very friendly welcome indeed. The house is just amazing and lots of TLC has been given to this home. A very high level of attention to detail with restoration and maintenance of the Grade listed building throughout. The entrance hallway is very welcoming and the solid... More

The moment we pulled up Alan was there welcoming us. His friendliness was second to none. The B&B was antiquated but full of character and lovely personal touches. It was clean and tidy and was a peaceful retreat. There were local pubs a spa shop and cashpoints within walking distance and good food pubs approx 2-3 miles away. The room... More

Stayed one night as we were passing through, greeted at the door by Alan and made to feel very welcome. The room was sumptuous with a great view and an en-suite the size of most bedrooms. Lots of period features all beautifully preserved in this 200 year old former rectory. Room was well equipped and the tin of biscuits instead... More

The owenrs were very helpful and obliging and made our stay fantastic. The family room was very comfortable, clean and smelled lovely. The location is great for day trips to... More

This is a very nice B and B, but I was a little nervous with 2 young children since the house is full of antiques and nice furniture. The room we had was very nice. The beds are excellent and the bathroom was very good. This is a great place for a couple, but leave the children at home. There... More

A lovely house! Nice rural area, run by a lovely welcoming and friendly couple. We had the oak room for 2 nights, the largest of the 3 and it was a fantastic size with a fantastic lowered bathroom. Well located for Llangollen, walking distance to corwen. Will definately return if we are in the area again, GREAT value for money,... More

Stayed over Easter and had a great time. Chris and Alan made us very welcome within their beautiful home. Our room was outstanding and even had a large bath, perfect for recovering from the walk up Snowdon. Alan even presented us with eggs to celebrate Easter!!. Open fires, Tea and Welsh Cake on arrival, wildlife walking past the breakfast room... More
