The chalets which are apparently part of this hotel should really be condemned, they are so not nice that words fail me. However the attitude of the staff is what really leaves me speechless, rude, surly, unhelpful, compounded by the fact that both the absent managers would not come to see guests when they have justified reasons to complain. leaving... more

My party of 80 enjoyed a fabulous time at the Beaches Hotel. Our annual Gilbert and Sullivan weekend was the best ever thanks to the high quality of the Beaches Hotel. We were comfortable and cossetted by the staff, whose service was everything you could want and more. Excellent food, great function facilities and a super pool and fitness suite.... more

We stopped off in prestatyn for a two night stay with our teenage children and had a great time The view of the beach from our bedroom was fab although we were on the ground floor so patrons to the bar could sit at tables right outside our window The hotel was very clean, the room very spacious and the... more

Very modest room with 80s pine furniture and uncomfortable bed and thin pale curtains at the window. Not what you expect from a hotel that has leisure facilities. Very unfriendly "welcome" from reception staff on arrival after tiring journey so not a good start. Pool not available and as we had planned our trip to make use of facility I... more

I booked the hotel for the 3 nights over bank holiday weekend due to it being recommended by a local who had recently attended a wedding there. When we got there we was greeted by 2 not so happy receptionists. We got to our room and it was terrible, the pine furniture was like something in the 80's, I could... more

A good friend of ours decided to get married at the hotel over the easter period. Whilst the service and the wedding as a whole went well, the breakfast the following day was an absolute farce. Friends were waiting nearly an hour outside the dining room and when they finally got in there they were told by an indignant waiter... more

I feel compelled to add my comments due to the reviews left previously. We stayed at The Beaches Hotel recently and we experienced nothing of what has been so negatively written. The atmosphere was lovely and calm(both inside and outside the hotel). The staff were most helpful and pleasant , they were keen to assist with any query we may... more

We stayed at Beaches this year and had an absolutely beautiful time. The rooms were clean and more than comfortable with lots of special little touches that made us feel welcome and at home. The staff at Beaches went above and beyond and helped us book several day trips during our stay and generally made us feel at home and... more

I stayed in Beaches Hotel for 2 nights recently and I has such a pleasant stay that I felt compelled to leave this review. The staff were warm and welcoming and from the minute I arrived at the hotel I was treated to a very high standard. My room was more than adequate and what more could a person ask... more

I came to Prestatyn from France during some of January and February 2008 and this place has serious problems. While it looks very nice from the outside, and indeed from the inside, the service is easily the worst I have ever enountered. The staff are rude, surly, incompetent and unprofessional and I was constantly staggered by their antics. The "restaurant"... more

Management response from

This is most definetly a wind up, all the staff are friendly and professional, the Beaches Hotel has a high level of Business Travellers who are all more than satisfied each time they stay and return many times throughout the year.
