Food was really nice but really overpriced. The serving was small, ok if you eat before you get there. They took so much time preparing the meal that it was bordering on the redicilous. Attitude of staff was ok, but they really need a reality check. Just because they are in abersoch doesn't mean they have god like status.

We stayed in the Goslings in 2009 and it was fabulous ....so much so that we had previously stayed at the Porth Tocyn and decided that the Goslings was better all round for us. We went to Abersoch last week for my birthday and were relieved to find the Goslings had a room vacant. What a disappointment .....in the 3... More

Ok very good may be a tad generous but it deserves good, let me enumerate the plus points. Very good location within minutes of town on foot. Car park small but adequate and essential in the locality. Beds comfortable and room air conditioned so passing street noise can be cut out ( as a personal preference I would like an... More

Very disappointing - one of the most expensive we stayed in on a walking holiday and by far the worst. Noone to greet you. Noone there at all except for breakfast. Dusty rooms, Small shower. awful furniture and furnishings. Really bad value.

If you don't mind dust go here. Our room, no. 2, had layers of dust on the bed, lamps and overhanging curtain. There was no wardrobe, just a curtain across a dusty alcove, and very little drawer space. The room was very small. The bathroom was tiny and the shower door was hanging off. We asked for another room, no.... More

My husband and I stayed at Goslings over the New Years Eve celebrations for two nights. The rooms we were in were perfect for our situation (Pink & Green room) as adjoining for our 8 and 5 year old. Breakfast was included in the price and excellent. The bedrooms were warm and cosy and we slept well both evenings. Yes... More

My husband and mother were doing a tour of northern Wales and this place was the worst we stayed in. The room was crap and there wasn't anyone there when you arrive. They just call you up and give you a key code to the front door. Rooms were shabby and it was the most expensive out of all the... More

We decided to have a night away as my husband had been ill last year, we found the hotel very clean, good quality, very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on suite with a shower which was of a good standard, it even had a sea view. The hotel is in excellant proximity to the... More

We fell in love with Abersoch a while ago as its brilliant for surfing and general relaxation. As we travelled with friends we decided to stay at Goslings rustic family room. Upon arrival nobody was home but we were given instructions how to enter. The room was ok, very small and the bathroom was even smaller but at least it... More

We stayed in the Goslings' Chalet behind the hotel in its car park, which looked sweet on the website. We were visiting Abersoch for a rare family get-together to celebrate a big birthday. We booked the chalet as a double at £85 per night for three nights but when we arrived, we didn't even want to stay for one. The... More
