The hotel is lovely looks great both outside and inside, great location next to a beautiful lake with a walk way. Excellent food with great options including several options for vegetarians. A very welcoming, warm and friendly service. I've stayed there many times and will continue to revisit. Had many good nights at the gwernan.

Such a nice place, what a shame the expectation of a well earnt pint after coming down off the hills is met with such a dour-faced welcome. Probably one of the grumpiest landlords in Wales. Good beer though.
