Fantastic hotel. Fantastic Rooms. Lovely food with excellent waitress service (the girls are so polite and friendly). My wife described it as "...like staying in a National Trust Property / Hotel..." An amazing place with great table service though the house manager let everything down by being condescending. We were left alone in silence all evening having to stare at strange photographs of children who live there...it was this totally bizarre experience that compelled us not to cancel. Have just spent a most wonderful weekend at Pale Hall I would highly recommend this country hotel. The setting is magnificent, the rooms and decor truly stunning. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the staff. The food in the restaurant was delicious. A lovely experience all round! more

A fine example of a house lovingly restored by current owners. Full of Victorian period charm - including superb reception rooms and dining room. Sweeping stair case to die for! Disgusted!!! I booked this hotel and receivied confirmation via e mail. Everything was fine until I mentioned we were attending a wedding party and would be out until around midnight. I was then told they could not accept this booking. The other reviews are correct - dont do it!!! Now I'm attending a wedding and have nowhere to stay! more
