This bed and breakfast is a real gem - in terms of BB prices I think that it is expensive. However - it is worth every single penny. The worst bit about the stay was the guilt that I felt at arriving "late" I had warned the hotel that we would be travelling after work on the Friday, and so... more

We stayed in July 2008. We made our original booking and then cancelled because of family illness. At the last moment we found we were able to stay and I telephoned Carys to see if the room was still available. She had relet it for one of the nights we had booked but sorted out alternative accommodation elsewhere for us... more

Cancel and get insulted!! I unfortunately had to cancel a booking made and readily accepted by Carys Roberts (owner) via email at 9pm the night before my intended visit I offered to ring and pay that same evening which the owner refused. Due to a very genuine reason I was forced to cancel my trip altogether. I informed the owner... more

Would just like to say, how much I enjoyed staying at Yr Hen Felin this last weekend. I came up to see the Wakeboarding at Wakestock with my Mum and Dad for my first beach holiday and I had a lovely time. The Old Mill Studio was perfect for us and the hospitality shown us by Carys and Paul was... more

Our family, grand parents, 3 daughters, 2 son in laws and baby grandson enjoyed a wonderful stay this week end, The rooms were lovely, homely, very well furnished, spotless and excellently decorated. Paul and Carys have spent a lot of time planning the decor and every possible thing has been thought of to make the stay as relaxing and homely... more

What a lovely find! We regularly visit the Llynn penninsula but this was the first time we have stayed at Hen Felin. We had the kingsize room which was enormous and beautifully decorated and more than comfortable. You really can struggle to get good modern standards of accommodation anywhere around Pwllheli but Hen Felin along with the Old Rectory have... more

A great B&B! The owner is really friendly and can't do enough to help. When we arrived she even offered to drive us up to the local pub before it stopped serving dinner! The rooms are immaculate and everything has been thought of, including a fridge and a small jug of fresh milk for a morning cup of tea! more
