As one of the other reviewer said, there's nothing wrong with this place, and nothing remarkable. We would certainly stay there again, given fairly limited choices in the area. more

We stayed here for 2 days during mid-Sep 2006 and got a warm welcome from Julie the owner. The room is spacious (it's the largest room I stayed during my 2-week visit to UK) and is very clean. The place is actually in Tremadog, about a mile walk from Porthmadog. It was our first experience in an English/Welsh/Scottish BnB, and so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I stayed at Tynewydd, in their self-catering cabin. It's a lot nicer than it sounds! The cabin/chalet is made of Norwegian wood and is surprisingly big. It has a living/kitchen area, a bedroom and a bathroom. It's very clean and comfortable and the owners are friendly and unobtrusive - although you'd better like dogs!
