Carpet when you went in was old and smelt musty. Room was basic, sheet on bed was marked and had hole in it. The walls are like cardboard and you can hear everything from the other rooms, very noisy. My husband and I visited last week, the first time for me. It was a lovely little place, very clean, very friendly.The food was also lovely but I felt that the menu could have had a larger selection. We will go again and would recommend to friends.

Great location, nice breakfast (didn't eat any other meals in the hotel) but the stay was spoilt by a shower with very low water pressure and very little control over its temperature. The water temperature cycled between very hot and very cold making it difficult to stand under the water safely for more than a few seconds.

The White Lion Hotel has the best Sunday Roast in the area.[We have tried most of them].We had a special sunday lunch for friends at the Royal Angelsey Yacht Club ,the food supplied by the Chef of The White Lion was excellent.It was highly commended by all participants....all excellent cooks.A great big thank you to you and your staff...G Mitchell..

Ideal base. Fantastic breakfast small basic room...Rooms a little shabby along with the corridors and chipped paint. Nice food dining room and bar If your staying for a short break but intend to park on the green its more economical to get a £10 weekly pass.
