We decided to have a long weekend in Anglesey and wanted to stay in Rhosneigr so we find this b&b through the internet. Rang up and spoke to a lovely lady and was made to feel welcome at the booking stage. We were not disappointed when we arrived - Cefn Dref is an imposing house by the lake on the main road into Rhosneigr. We were met by Gill the lady on the phone and shown to our room. Some lovely touches in the room - a fridge with a cold water function built in and good tea and coffee facilities. We were not disappointed with the breakfast as there was plenty of choice and plenty of it. Derek and Gill are fantastic hosts and it just feels like you are staying with friends. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful room with its own lounge - great for our week's stay. The bed was so comfortable with tempur mattress and the views were incredible. Fabulous breakfast. I can see why they keep getting the AA breakfast award.

We stayed with Derek and Gill whilst down for a weekend of racing on the Anglesey Circuit. A lovely setting and house with brilliant hosts who had plenty of local recommendations and knowledge. Room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was top notch both days, even served at a early time with the Saturday being an early start. We hope return next year and stay at Cefn Dref

This was our second visit to wonderful Cefn Dref. We were looking for a break and what a wonderful relaxing stay we had. You are literally a 2 minute walk to the beach and the the sunset was fantastic. We stayed in a different room this time and was pleased to see that style and attention to detail is maintained throughout the B&B. This will definitely be the second visit of many

We booked our 5 night stay as a romantic break . We preordered afternoon tea for our arrival which was excellent . We stayed in The Snowden Suite which overlooks Lake Maelog it also boasts a massive comfortable bed , fridge , coffee machine and all the usual amenities. Breakfast was most enjoyable ,full breakfast , several other cooked options as well as cereal , yoghurt , fruit and toast along with delicious home made preserves. The hotel is in an excellent spot for exploring or a wander into the village and beach. We have no hesitation recommending Cefn Dref and hope to return again soon . Thank you Derek and Gill you are excellent hosts with a wonderful property.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel, and we were very impressed. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building, with lots of character. The location is perfect, with great views and a short walk to the beach/village centre/restaurants. Another big plus, is it has plenty of parking space. Derek & Gill made us very welcome throughout our stay. There’s lots of choice for breakfast, can’t think of anything you’d want, that wasn’t available. Our first stay at this hotel, and we’ll definitely be going back.

Enjoyed our couple of days ,weather was excellent for enjoying the beautiful surroundings Nice walk right outside ,great beaches for evening walk without taking car. Sometimes felt like we had the beach to ourselves Gill and Derek made us most welcome ,and work very hard at maintaining a high standard of bb especially in relation to the standard of breakfast and room decor. Cefn Dref is perfectly placed just on the periphery of everything. Both the village, beach and lake are short walks away. The standard of the rooms were amazing, especially as we stayed during the heatwave so finding a cool room was an extra special surprise. We have recommended Cefn Dref to friends and family and will be coming again soon

I visited Cefn Dref whilst I was officiating at the local race circuit and found it to be perfect. Derek and Gill are perfect hosts and so accommodating. I had to leave early on both days and so a packed lunch was placed in the fridge in the room and very nice it was too. The house is immaculate as are the rooms, the Seaview bedroom is fantastic, very clean and spacious. In the room the en-suite had a fantastic walk in shower, and plenty of space. The room itself has a double bed, 2 chairs in the window to relax and enjoy the view. There is a flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities as well as biscuits, chocolates and a 5 port USB charger. I really cant say enough good things about this Guest house, its just ideally placed and very relaxing. I will be returning with my family as this is a great place to just kick back, relax and enjoy the view. Rhosneigr is a lovely small village which has several bistros all of which have excellent food but you will need to book or be early. There are two local shops as well as a bar which has an excellent Thai restaurant above as well as a great Fish and Chip shop. The local race circuit is a 10 minute drive, so perfect for visiting race teams, marshals and officials.

We were made very welcome by Gill and Derek. Our room was delightful with lovely views over the lake. Breakfast had lots of choice and my husband particularly liked porridge with whisky and cream. We hope to visit again.
