Marilyn and Dave were extremely hospitable and friendly! I was impressed by their garden/orchard and absolutely loved the preserves that they make for breakfast along with the fresh eggs from their hens. The home is situated off the beaten road, but it is worth it. It is in a quiet, lovely, pastoral area. The room is comfortable, clean, and beautifully... more

What can we say, that hasn't already been said? Plas Efenechtyd is a haven of tranquility and beauty, and a home of impeccable taste and interest. With such superb hosts as Dave & Marilyn, and their excellent breakfasts, it would be very difficult to find anywhere in the area to compare. It was wonderful to stay somewhere so natural and... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Marilyn and Dave. Everything about the B & B is superb right down to home made preserves and bread for breakfast. An added bonus was the free WIFI or use of a guest computer. They thought of everything. We can recommend this B & B to anyone, they shan't be disappointed. Amanda & George... more

We travelled to Ruthin for a wedding and rather than stay in a hotel, booked this wonderful cottage B&B. A little challenging to find but absolutely beautiful and run by a lovely couple who welcomed us warmly. The room was wonderful with fabulous views and breakfast superb. It was superior to the room that a friend stayed in in Ruthin!... more

Once you have found this cottage (using the good directions proivided by the owners) you will find a warm welcome and a really comfortable room waiting for you. En-suite rooms have digital tv, and luxury bedding and towels. There is a 'communal' Mac, which the owners allow guests to use. The breakfasts are fabulous, and the bread (Toast) is home... more

Fabulous location, charming property and set up thoughtfully - in all it catered very well for our needs. Most places fall short of our expectations - this B&B certainly did not. And we are not so easy to please! No reservations about recommending Plas Efenechtyd, and its hosts, to our friends. more

Really enjoyed our stay with Dave & Marilyn. They made us feel at home & were happy to get up earlier than normal on Sunday to get (their excellent) breakfast ready for our early start. We'll definitely stay with them again next time we're in the area. more
