What a fantastic few days, my friend booked this for her birthday and a spa treat and it did not disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and I have to make reference to Alan and Bryn who were long suffering and patient in the extreme. The rooms were spacious with every thing you could possibly think of included. Breakfast was... More

We had a fantastic stay at Ruthin Castle, the place is wonderful and luxurious. Our room was amazing and seemed to be recently re-furbished everything seemed brand new. Loved the bathroom with the free standing bath and huge shower, all in black, white and chrome. Beds were very comfortable and clean, in fact everywhere was spotless. Our view from room... More

Stayed here on our way to Anglesea and thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. I was a little apprehensive when reading of some of the experiences of fellow travellers when booking this property. From un helpful staff to bad rooms travellers have experienced it all. From the moment we were greeted by Anna's (with the broken foot) warm smile we found... More

Recently stayed at Ruthin Castle at the end of april for a hen doo. We arrived early afternoon to the beautifull castle grounds and had full use of the spa facilities package which included the outdoor hot tub and steam tent. The spa activities were followed by a BBQ which had a wide range of delicious food to suit everyone... More

We went for a mid week trip to this Castle hotel and found it so wonderful. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the en suite was clean and recently refurbished. The tea room on the ground floor offered light tasty snacks and a restaurant serving fine food was available. Overall the service was good and worth a visit for... More

Recently stayed here ona KGB deal and it was absolutely divine ! You really do know you are staying in a castle from the moment you drive through the front gates. Our room was perfect with I-Pod docking station, roll top bath, top of the range toiletries. Peacocks roaming around the grounds can be a little noisy but they just... More

Used a voucher for this midweek break and what great value this turned out to be.Beautiful castle set in tranquil grounds although the peacocks were a bit noisey outside our window. The food in "Bertie,s restaurant was faultless and the whole experience made me feel quite special.Cant wait for a re-visit.Steeped in history.

Having been here for afternoon tea a while ago, I've always wanted to stay but since we are fairly local it seemed excessive! However, we were given a voucher as a gift and booked the Lillie Langtree suite for a one night stay. At £165 it wasn't cheap but the room was beautiful. A large, airy room with four poster... More
