i have stayed at the skirrid inn twice and loved it both times, the food is great, the staff and Geoff and Sharon are lovely, the room was clean and the four poster bed is very comfortable. There is a big open fire in the bar which is perfect in the winter and the atmosphere is wonderful. more

Skirrid Inn promises 4 poster beds but we didn't in the room we had. I was shocked about the condition of the sheets and pillow cases. This place and the people are fantastic. great place to stay, plenty of atmosphere, not the cleanest but the hospitality and great food make up for this! Like stepping back in time once thro the door and fab views of the Brecon beacons. more
