A short notice booking, as we had a weather window to go birding on Skomer. What appealed was the Chris Neale ( local artist) painting of Garn Isaf on their website. Ann put us in two double rooms as two singles, ( this obviously at the discretion of the owner, depending on time of year). We phoned our ETA and we were welcomed with a fresh pot of tea. Ann showed us to our rooms in the recently built barn conversion. The rooms were light, airy and spotless. Good bed and quality bed linen. LCD. Bathroom pristine.
There is also an excellent sun lounge with doors to a terrace. Comfy sofas and big LCD. Books, maps and gudes in abundance. A large dining rom had a table for eight and a couple of tables for two like us. Given notice, Ann will cook an evening meal if required. Breakfast was superb with excellent fresh fruit salad and a full English, enough to keep us going all day, Endless good coffee.
