Gardener’s Cottage was beautifully prepared for the week and we immediately felt at home. We hoped to use a local provider of prepared meals but they were away so we made do with Marks & Spencer ready meals but we were just being lazy – the kitchen was fully equipped and there was a large fridge/freezer to store ingredients. The location is excellent for a range of activities – it’s a short drive to the coast and we had a day out in St David’s. Haverfordwest is a good nearby centre for slightly more urban excursions – it’s quite faded but interesting to visit. Best of all, Rosemoor has its own large nature reserve where we spent time photographing bugs, swans etc. The cottage was well ventilated and there was no shortage of hot water. Comfortable bed upstairs. Surprisingly spacious sitting area downstairs in the same room as the kitchen. Very quick WiFi. The owner was friendly enough but kept himself to himself. We had no urgent need to contact him but struggled to find him on the couple of occasions we needed anything (e.g. £3 tokens for the washing machine). Really good recycling system for all the usual household rubbish. There were quite a lot of “rules” but they were all about ecological sustainability so no bother. We hope to visit again next time we’re in the area.

We had 3 self catering cottages - Rose, Apple and Peace, for the whole family - 6 adults, 2 babies, 1 toddler and a dog! Clean accommodation, well equipped kitchens, very Covid secure. We recommend the local caterer,Annie- 2 good meals from her. Tesco and Cook deliver. No local shops, nearest supermarket is Haverfordwest ( 15mins) Owners helpful but nor super friendly. The gardens surround all the properties, so are not secure for dogs. Hidden extras - towels, use of washing machine and tumble dryer, which we felt was a bit expensive on top of the cost. Lovely beaches at Little Haven

We visited Rosemoor in July and found it to be a quiet and relaxing place. I suffer from MND and I am completely dependant on a wheelchair although able to transfer to vehicles and chairs etc. While we chose Apple Cottage as it is advertised as wheelchair accessible, we were somewhat disappointed on our arrival. The low sill front door is accessed from a gravel courtyard. Although it is possible to park by the door, the gravel is particularly difficult to negotiate in a manual chair and impossible without assistance. Once inside, the furniture is too low to transfer from a wheelchair, there is insufficient space in the galley kitchen for a wheelchair and was unable to reach the taps to make a drink. The patio area was inaccessible in my wheelchair as it was accessed through an awkward doorway and two steps. I spent the visit talking to my wife from an open window while she sat in the sunshine. To be fair, the owners were away due to one of them being hospitalised so we didn't meet them until our last day. It was then explained that the patio could have been accessed by another route although this would still mean negotiating the gravel courtyard further, routing through a walled garden and across grass. The TV was only a 19 inch flat screen in an alcove and the aerial lead had been pulled from it's plug, which I repaired. TV would not normally feature greatly on my holiday but given the fact that access was restricted and it was Wimbledon week I found myself trying to watch it. The cottage itself could be a lovely relaxing place for the able bodied, although, it could do with a spruce up to the flaking paint on the timber doors and windows, the furniture is a little tired. The ground floor bedroom was adequate and the accessible bathroom was excellent. I hired a shower chair locally, which was in the cottage on arrival. Disability is a very personal thing and I feel as though I have slated this property for which I apologise. However, as someone who has become disabled in the last few years and is struggling to keep my independence, I could not stay at this property again. That is not to say that it would not be suitable for people with other forms of disability. It is a very quiet location with lots of lovely locations to visit.

Apple Cottage was exactly as described by the owners John and Jacqui Janssen. My wife has the problem of suffering an amputated left leg owing to medical negligence. We needed only the ground floor but the addition of the first floor would satisfy a larger group.Everything from the sheets to the kitchen equipment was very good and the wet room kitted out with top quality appliances.First holiday cottage we have stayed at that had radiators on low most of the day in the bathroom to ensure dry towels. Although it is a little further out from our normal haunts like Nolton Haven,St.Davids and Solva.Didn't take long to visit Little Haven,Broad Haven and Haverfordwest. My walk to the lake was relaxing. This cottage is a boon for people with mobility issues and if anything else could have been added. Then it would be the provision of a gentle ramp for wheel chair access to the charming garden. In the day we watched the Fresian/Holstein bullocks in the surrounding fields along with the owners poultry and the evening went bat watching.Internet connection was fast and John and Jacqui made us so welcome. We would recommend Rosemoor for anyone who appreciates lovely surroundings and quality accomodation.

We spent four enjoyable nights in Gardener's Cottage which was superbly equipped - there was even a garlic press although we didn't get around to using it! The cottage was splendid in every way and we ran into the friendly owners quite often. We loved the chickens and the not-as-brave-as-he-thinks-he-is cockerel but were saddened to hear that these were replacements for birds that had been killed a few weeks previously by a fox. Their wired enclosure has now been electrified. Lovely walks in the area after turning left or right from the entrance gate. Little Haven (quiet with good pubs) and Broad Haven (nice beach) are worth visiting and a short boat trip (from Martin's Haven) to Skomer Island to see the puffins is not to be missed.

I have been twice now and loved it both times. The first time, last summer, I was with a friend, and this time I just needed a few days alone. Amazing hiking and cliff walking nearby. The seaside is spectacular and you can literally walk for hours on the hills overlooking the ocean. Quaint little villages with pubs and good restaurnants in the area. The hosts, Jan and Jacqueline, are very friendly and super helpful, yet they totally respect your privacy. The place is fully booked right now, but you cannot tell because it is very quiet. I will be back sometime soon!

We stayed with family members - in separate accommodation - and thought it worked brilliantly. We had the Coach House which is very spacious and has everything you need (the only downside was not having our own washing machine because our 3 boys created a load pretty much every day, but there's a communal one so can't complain too much) We loved having the chickens roaming around the back garden and sheep and cows in neighbouring fields. We also made good use of the ping pong table! The local area is beautiful with so many wonderful places to visit (boat trip to Ramsey Island off St David's being the biggest highlight; Pembroke Castle tour also excellent) The only reason I haven't given it top marks was because it would have been ideal to have wifi in the cottages themselves. You can access wifi in the table tennis room but it's a bit of a faff when you just want to quickly check something. But for many people the opportunity to switch off from technology may be a selling point!

My family and I stayed at Rosemoor last week in Orchard Cottage. We have 4 children and this cottage sleeps 5 plus a cot, so it was perfect for us. We found the accommodation extremely comfortable and clean with lovely views over surrounding countryside. We also loved seeing the chickens out of the kitchen window every morning! The play area and games room were brilliant for the children and the owners, John and Jacqui were very friendly and helpful. There is so much to do and see here- Skomer Island and St David's cathedral are a must and there are so many beaches to choose from as well as the beautiful Picton Castle. We loved the fact that the key is left in the door when you arrive so you can make yourself at home straight away. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay- we will be back!!

Taken some time to get round to reviewing but we stayed at Rosemoor for a week. There were four of us (2 adults and 2 children) and we stayed in the coach house. The hosts were really welcoming and the cottage was well appointed and really quite spacious. The children loved the play area and used it every day we were there. It was a great place for them to meet the other children. The location is fabulous with so much to do and see. We walked to Little Haven, probably a step to far for the children but an adventure. I've put the visit down as Aug but it was May HT as we went to skomer to see the puffins!!
