We just love it here, The Dru ticks all our boxes. Fabulous cliff top location, good food, laid back and exceptionally dog-friendly hotel so we can relax perfectly into the ambiance of this place. Okay, it is not smart or chic, but it is homely and welcoming. We stayed in the one of the top rooms with a balcony again... More

It's worth making the trip here for the view alone, no matter what the weather. However, on a sunny day this has become our favourite place to visit to sit either overlooking the cliff or next to the beautiful water garden with its waterlillies and tadpoles. They are also dog-friendly. The hotel/restaurant/pub itself has really friendly, young staff and the... More

Went back here after not been for some years....soon we remembered why... Service is slow, food is very overpriced in comparison to what you get on your plate. Food is tasty but lacks of finishing touches, such as dressing with a dry rice and dry piece of lamb or or a light dressing for the sallad. We keep coming here... More

Our second visit - and this time we stayed in the hotel rather than one of the cottages. It didn't disappoint. The room was clean and a little old - but we don't mind that. It was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water (we had an en suite room - but they aren't all en suite). Breakfast was... More

I have eaten at The Druidstone several times while staying at Nolton Haven and it was definitely worth the 20 minute walk. The views of St Bride's Bay are stunning and I can't think of anything better than sitting outside with a drink, watching the sun go down. I love the quirkiness and the food is very good. I would... The Druidstone is a quirky hotel with a restaurant that is open to all. The dining room offers astounding views across St Bride's Bay sometimes set off by an evening sun that can be blinding but often produces astounding sunsets. We have eaten here often and never been disappointed. Starters, meat, vegetables and puddings are all distinctively tasty. A substantial... More

Extremely delicious food! Unexpectedly tasty! The setting is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are extremely friendly! Will definitely be back to sample some other treasures on the extremely interesting looking menu.

Spent two nights here as part of a family wedding group and every part of the time spent here was fantastic. We had a large family meal on the friday with people arriving at different times but nothing seemed to phase the waitresses and the food arrived fairly swiftly and was all delicious. Children were well catered for, and we... More

My brother-in-law and his wife have been coming here for meals for about twenty years and as this was the first trip in this area for my wife and I, they said "we have to take you there". Several revuers have referred to the building as being a bit "shabby" but I would like to call it "aged with grace"... More

My parents and I had Sunday lunch here during our Easter stay at a nearby campsite. On Good Friday the restaurant was already fully booked for Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday evening, but luckily they managed to squeeze us into the Sunday lunch time service. The views are breathtaking from the restaurant and in the warmer summer months the... More
