Ivybridge Guest House is a gem. I stumbled upon it, but I'll be returning as often as possible. Located near the Fishguard ferry to Ireland and trains to Cardiff, Ivybridge is close to lots of Pembroke destinations, for fishing, hiking, horse-back riding, and, of course, Saint David's. There's plenty of car parking or buses to take you throughout the area.... more

We frequently travel to the countryside and do not look for 5* accomodation. Just a clean comfortable room that takes a small well behaved dog. The room was not clean. There were left over 'gummy bears' under the bed and sweet wrappers. We arrived late and didn't notice the left overs til morning. I brought one gummy bear to the... more

It is now four years since I discovered Ivybridge Guest House and I've been visiting it at least three times a year to get away from the stresses of being self-employed. The standard o service has been consistantly at the top of my experience of such hotels. The rooms are scrupulously clean and extremely comfortable. The food is carefully prepared... more

Just spent 3 nights at the Ivybridge, and again it has nothing to prove in being a friendly hotel. As long as guests realise it is a country hotel and not a 5 star you will not be disappointed. The family rooms allow the children their own room within the main guest room without feeling hemmed in. Based on my... more

I stayed at Ivybridge in February 09 on my way to Ireland on business. I found the people there very friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was served hot!! I arrived very late but I received a welcome and was shown to my room. On asking if there was any chance of food, the chap rushed... more

We stayed n Pembrokeshire for three nights for a change of scenery, fancied a bit of nice Welsh countryside. I chose Ivybridge as they allow dogs, and are a very reasonable price. Our large en-suite room with one double and one large single bed was £69, that is for the room not per person so very good value for money... more

Arrived for one night on way back from holiday in Ireland. First impressions is that this place needs a facelift. We had three rooms all of which were dingy, claustrophobic and small and very stuffy. 1960s decor. We went down for a drink before having a bar meal. Not a proper bar - for instance no draught beer and the... more

We had a major refurbishment here to "Visit Wales" standard in 2007 and all our rooms were redecorated and are serviced daily. We have a wide range of beers lager and spirits available. True, it is not on draught, as we feel draught beers are not for us. our dining roomed refurbished December 08 is all open plan and includes...
