Ramsey House is a superb place to stay for so many reasons. The hosts, Suzanne and Shaun, are lovely people and they really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The bedrooms are great - stylish and well equipped (TV, digital radio, tea and coffee facilities, plenty of wardrobe... more

We stayed at Ramsay House for 3 nights in June 09. We stayed in room 2 on the ground floor. The room was beautifully decorated and the area was really quiet and peaceful, but within 5 mins walk of ther cathedral and the city centre. The bathroom was fitted out to a very high standard with White Company toiletries -... more

Ramsey House is tucked away in a quiet road so it's very peaceful. The bedrooms have been recently renovated and brought up to 'boutique' standard. Beautifully coodinated interiors with great attention to details. The ensuite was small but well equipped and all new fittings. The dinner was excellent, Shaun is a fantastic chef and we would definately recommend booking dinner.... more

What a fantastic place to stay! More a luxury boutique than what you'd expect from a country guest house, Ramsey House has perfected the art of making guests feel at home while not being intrusive. Lovingly decorated in a modern yet still classical style over the last few months, the property is owned by a charming husband and wife duo,... more

An excellent B & B- well deserving of the 5 stars from the tourist board. We had an excellent room with distant views of the sea. (Room 6) . Good selection of breakfasts. We ate dinner in Ramsey House for 2 nights and we were not disappointed. The food was of an excellent quality. Thank you Suzanne and Shaun! more

Ramsey House was immaculately clean and decorated to a very high standard. There was not a bit of chintz in sight, very refreshing!! The Welsh breakfasts were absolutely delicious and service was always attentive and professional. Very fine attention to detail and some lovely added little touches, such as Welsh cakes and tea in the lounge to welcome us on... more

I travel a lot in the UK and regularly stay in 4 star hotels, and few would rank alongside Ramsey House. The rooms and ensuites are a... more

My wife and I, and two friends stayed here for three nights. (See DaveG99 for their review). We had a great time and the B&B is a very nice and relaxing place to stay. We had room number 2 on the ground floor and our friends had room number 6 which was upstairs. Both bedrooms and the rest of the... more

Stayed for 3 nights early June 08. First class guest house, breakfast is excellent. We stayed for dinner on 2 nights, and were more than pleased with the food. Shaun is an excellent chef, and Suzan serves with a welcoming style. Suzan and Shaun have only owned Ramsey house for 2 years, and I can confirm the beds are not... more

Had a lovely stay at this b&b, very clean and quite. Breakfast was good, and home made bread and jams were great. Though out of the town slightly, it is convenient for the cathedral, but we did take our car as it was raining and we would have been rather wet by the time we got back. {if you go... more
