The hotel is the perfect location if you want to visit St Davids and the surrounding area. Just a 10-15 minute walk takes you to the coastal path with superb views of the sea. At the front of the hotel is an attractive beer garden with tables/chairs on grass with lots of shrubs and flowers, a perfect place for a... more

Stayed 2 nights in April 2008, what a lovely place! I had a double room to myself, a gorgeous bathroom with an enormous radiator and the nice thing was that I could control the radiators myself. The breakfasts were good as were the evening meals. I had the local beef and lamb plus puddings and wine. Superb. In fact, this... more

Just returned from a visit to The Old Cross Hotel. Food is excellent and we have never stayed anywhere with such a plentiful supply of hot water. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms apparently are being upgraded and we have booked again for November 09. more

The decor is a little dated, but very clean, maintained and well kept, the building is old but this adds to it's charm. The staff were very freindly and pleasant, we ate in... more
Stayed one night here, which was enough. St David’s is delightful and the situation of this place is perfect – right in the middle, but I found myself looking at it as if I was The Hotel Inspector and deciding how I would refurnish it! Really old-fashioned décor abounds although it was perfectly comfortable and apparently they are refurbing. Can’t... more
