I searched the web to find B&Bs in Laugharne and Llansteffan.leaving messages with my enquiry. Two came back to me, one that had closed 5 years ago and Sarah from Tre-Bentir. Sarah was so easy to talk to and she explained the breakfast situation to me. We arrived at this lovely home, which we found with no problems, so easy... More

We saw positive reviews about Tre-Bentir on Tripadvisor and gave them a call when we were due to attend a wedding in the area. At £55 a night the place was a great steal! We booked the two rooms one for us and another for my sister-in-law and her partner. The rooms were clean and well decorated, with beautiful views... More

One night here just wasn't enough. Sarah, the owner was friendly, welcoming and could not have been more helpful. The room was fresh, clean and tastefully decorated and situated within the eaves of Sarah's bungalow with great views across the estuary. Breakfast is self service and excellent quality - fresh organic bread, butter, jams, juice, milk, cereals, tea and coffee... More

I spent just one night at Tre-Bentir recently - I wish it could have been longer. Everything about the stay was great (apart from the weather!). Great location with wonderful views of the sea, yet close to the heart of Laugharne, pubs, restaurants and shops as well; convenient parking; a lovely, light, simple, spacious room and comfortable bed; good help-yourself... I spent 8 months working in the nearby town of Carmarthen. During this period I stayed at Tre Bentir my 'Second Home'. The friendliest, cleanest, warmest bed and breakfast accommodation I have stayed in. It seemed to be the longest winter ever. But had it not been for Sarah and her warm welcome, it would hevae been even longer. Your own... More

I note other contributor's comments about living in a dorma bungalow and therefore not encountering difficulties with the sloping walls, but I don't, and I did. The only way to access the cupboard containing the fridge and larder was to go down on one's knees or bend in two; in other words, insufficient attention is paid to the ergonomics, or... More

We stayed one night in Tre Bentir to attend a wedding in a nearby hotel. Everything about the accommodation was just as we had hoped having read the positive reviews. We were met by Sarah who was friendly and accommodating. The dorma room in the attic was very clean & fresh with wonderful velux windows opening up to reveal a... More

I really loved staying in Tre Bentir as its different from the normal B&B experience. You are left to you own devices and the breakfast is all provided in the room. This means that although you don't get cooked breakfast, you can follow your own timetable, get up when you want and was generally much more relaxing. Also if you... More

If you like to be left alone and to be completely free to do your own thing then Tre Bentir is ideal for you, own entrance own breakfast. We had a friendly and comprehensive welcome that told us all we needed to know and how to contact someone if necessary. The room was very modern , clean and comfortable (mind... More
