We visited for 2 nights on a wet, windy November weekend. On arrival at 8pm, when the bar was buzzing and the staff were busy serving meals/bar snacks we wre made most welcome and shown to our room straight away. Booked last minute,somewhere close enough to easily visit lake vyrnwy.Very pleasantly surprised.Room nice,in a building full of character.The owners were very welcoming,only surpassed by the wonderful service given by the young gentleman at dinner.A cosy bar contained entertaining locals and a most delicious dinner served in nice restaurant.Excellent value for money in most homely,relaxed surroundings. more
