Since Machynlleth doesn't have any well known hotels in the town we took a chance on using this B&B. Turned out to be a good choice and would be happy to go back again. Decent food and very good service. Certainly better than some hotels I've stayed in Wales and the staff are friendly to boot. more

Disappointing place and not very clean. Needs a refit, especially the bathroom with rotting skirting board, miss-matched tiling, wobbly taps, handle falling off shower door etc.... ...don't think any of it's very high up the owners list of priorities. Shower water was too hot and unable to be adjusted ! The owners were civil but not friendly. Over priced. more

Arrived at 1.30 having travelled 5 hours to visit a relative in the town. No one was at the Guest House, rang a number of times, no answer so waited. My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a walking trip along Glendwr's way. They were full, and we had a slightly cramped attic room.
