My family and I traveled down to San Pancho last week. It was our first journey abroad with out 17 month old daughter. Our stay at GataGordo was superb. We were initially booked in Nopal, which did not work for us since we need a separate room for our toddler; it is a lovely space, though. Eileen was very helpful... More

This was our second visit to the inn where we stayed in Villa Victoria (V). This time we shared it with our son and his wife. It's spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and has lovely views. We wish we had brought binoculars to better identify the birds we saw from it's veranda. We took Eileen's suggestion however and went on... More

This is a great place! The location, charm, cleanliness, amenities, support staff, etc were all first rate. But the owner/proprietor, Eileen, made it most memorable. Not only does she have a wealth of information, a very friendly nature and a very interesting personality, she is one wicked ambulance driver, too! While visiting the Gata Gorda, we experienced an urgent and... More

Looking back on our stay at The Inn at San Pancho/Gato Gordo last winter I can honestly say that it blew away our hopes and expectations. Having travelled with our family to Sayulitas a few times we decided to give San Pancho a try. This time we left the kids at home and it was just my wife/best friend and... More

The Inn at San Pancho was the perfect launching point for our group's vacation (stayed 3 nights). The webpage showed exactly what we experienced in terms of the space, and the owner Eileen made our stay easy and comfortable. A perfect hostess. She arranged for 2 twin beds in the sizeable living room area of "Nopal" so our group of... More

We’ve stayed at five different places in San Pancho over the past six years and have carefully investigated dozens more. During the 25-30 days that we've actually spent in San Pancho, we've gotten a reasonably good sense of what the town is like and what are the places-to-stay options. Based on this experience, we can confidently say that Inn at... More

San Pancho is very laid back and so is Gata Gorda. And yes there is a cat lazing around here. Our suite ( the largest ) was spacious and had great views. Bed was comfie and views were awesome. I loved sitting on the terrace in the morning watching the flocks of birds fly over. A bit pricey for San... More

My husband and I recently stayed in "Chica" for four days. We found it to be very accurately represented in the photos and description on the Inn's website. To us, it was charming, quaint, and uniquely Mexican. For longer stays, the other rentals looked as if they would be equally enjoyable. The grounds are lovely and there are several different... More

I came here with a friend at the end of November to escape the gray rainy days in Portland, Oregon and to take in the natural beauty and culture of Mexico. We stayed in the Casa Agave which was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and the only thing that got me up in the morning... More

The Inn sits high up on hill with great views of the ocean. It is a short walk to restaurants, stores and the beach yet it feels so luxuriously removed. It is very charming with beautiful Mexican decor, flowering shrubs everywhere and a relaxing pool area. The rooms have kitchenettes with coffee and water. The Innkeeper, Eileen is very helpful...
