We stayed at the Le Meridien in April of last year. I am just now getting around to writing the review. In summary, my husband and I checked out a day early. The bath and bedroom was dirty and the service was so lousy, that we would not return. We came back to our room after an entire day out... more

Our stay at the Le Meridien was over-all a very pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful and we were able to check in as soon as we arrived. Got to enjoy a full day at the beach where our lunch was promptly served even if there were about 30 other guests. The same can be said for the prompt... more

Get ready for $16/night "resort fee", $25/night "parking", $13/day "internet access fee". Absolutely nothing is included. All of these fees are on top of the booking taxes and fees. When I checked out this morning, I conveyed my surprise and disappointment at all of the hidden fees and the front desk staff said there was nothing they could do. As... more

We ohly had one night at this hotel but it was fantastic. The service was excellent. It is so nice to have a separate living room/kitchen and bedroom. The appliances in the kitchen were as good as any upscale apartment. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was impressive. The view from our balcony was excellent, though it rained a... more

Maybe the people at Starwood read the bad reviews about service and made some improvements because the service we experienced was terrific. Besides being friendly, every single request we had was taken care of PRONTO. We usually stay in fancier hotels and so were apprehensive about this choice. Our worries were for nothing. The room was clean, remodeled and with... more

We like this hotel for a 2 or 3 day trip to Miami. Close to Adventura & Bal Harbour shopping areas & good restaurants. Not too far to drive to South Beach or Ft. Lauderdale. We had a very chic suite...very comfortable, with kitchen, big bath...done in hip modern french style. Even used the spa for an excellent massage. We... more

The one-bedroom suite was beautiful with a full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom and balcony. The view was okay, but we were mostly looking at the top of a run-down apartment complex. Location has nice beach, but if you're looking for big nights out it's not the place for you. I think we saw a total of three people... more

We stayed two nights, the room was small but a nice large bathroom. The balcony was decent size, pool small and not a lot of chairs. The Manhattan Bakery a few blocks south is wonderful, LeTerrzano was also good. The :"S" bus pickup is near the hotel and only costs $2.00 to get to South Beach versus $35.00 taxi ride.... more

Le Meridien is definitely a different type of hotel from its competition further up the eastern coast, but so is anything else in the Sunny Isles and Miami. I thought the hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly, and the location is fantastic. The beach in Sunny Isles is second to none (see photos). Be sure to budget into... more

I took my parents for a trip to see some spring training baseball in the area around Ft. Lauderdale. The service at Le Meridien was surly -- often in the evening the front desk phone rang for minutes before anyone answered it. The rooms are fine, but not luxurious; what we stayed in were residential-feeling (washer dryer, kitched) rooms on... more
