I think the Beaufort has set a new standard in Manly. The rooms are beautifully appointed with period furniture and yet it maintains a relaxed beach house feel and has all the modern conveniences (including wifi etc.) I stayed on a work trip and commuted into Sydney CBD each day. I would say a home away from home, but unfortunately my house isn't at nice as Beaufort at the Beach. Charming, smart, informal and considered. Successfully not fashionable, rather very stylish with all the details considered. Will come back.
