Had to stay as it was recommended by my daughter from the year before.A very good choice, very central ( 0nly 1 street behind the main road.) but very quiet.Rooms lovely and clean.Sheila and John made us very welcome, enjoyed our interesting conversations.A bit limited to choice of restaurants but for 2 nights its OK. Beechworth is very interesting with guided walks and history of Ned Kelly etc.Plus of course BEECHWOOD BAKERY Yummie Yummie A lovely day can also be spent at Bright just over 1 hour away with lovely walks by the river.Plus in April the autumn colour.
Thank you Sheila and John.

This was served in the beautiful garden with as much tea as you liked. Sheila then helped us with ideas for dinner - all of which were of course in strolling distance.

Our room was beautiful...
