Dropped in here for a cuppa during a visit to Glenrowan. What a charming tea room with lovely friendly staff. Ordered tea/ scones and pikelets - all were clearly homemade and delicious. Only sorry we had eaten lunch beforehand or we would happily have eaten here instead. Highly recommend.

It was a last minute decision to call into Glenrowan. It had been many years since I had been there and the town had grown a little tired. The food at the Billy Tea rooms was excellent though and very reasonably priced. The service was so friendly as was the atmosphere of the whole place.

Visited the Billy Tea Room for lunch with a friend. The waitress was talking to my friend the whole time (they knew each other) so took quite awhile to get our very simple orders taken. We have stayed here 3 times now. At $110 per night, it is only fractionally more expensive than the local motel but is a fully self contained townhouse syle addition to the back of the tearooms.
