Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Apartment was lovely and welcoming. Lots of little extras waiting to make our stay a little extra special. We were fortunate enough to have the owners on-site who joined us by the fire pit for drinks and Joy entertained us with her guitar playing and lovely singing. A great time was had by all. Apartment within walking distance to main shopping strip. A home away from home.

Great apartments. Super clean. Fully equipped kitchen including plates and bowls for the kids. Games and books to keep the kids entertained and plenty of space. It is a nice stroll into town or down to Brambuk

The apartments are very well equipped, clean, tidy and have everything a family needs to enjoy the perfect escape. Our family appreciated the variety of magazines, DVDs and games which came in handy when it rained on the last day. The local cockatoos are very friendly and come right up to the front door to say hello everyday! We were also visited by a large friendly kangaroo every night. The spa was great for relaxing sore muscles after numerous walks in this beautiful part of Victoria. A truly beautiful place which we will continue to visit. The owner, Joy was a pleasure to deal with.

Within walking distance from the centre of Halls Gap, these apartments are well-equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. The kids loved seeing the native wildlife that tended to be right on our doorstep. The spa was a hit with the whole family, and it was very relaxing after long hikes. This year our family has returned to these apartments for the third time, and every time our stay has been absolutely lovely. We love the Grampians and all they have to offer, and we also love these apartments - we will certainly return in the coming years.

Clean, nicely decorated units with everything you need. Bed comfy, several couches to lounge on, kitchen equipped well. Spa bath was a luxury to come back to after a hard days walk and much appreciated! Barry was very helpful and happy to assist with any questions. There were two amazing muffins on our arrival plus plunger coffee provided. We will be back!

I love these units so much I am almost too jealous to tell others about them ! Their location is central without being too busy. Set well back on the large block, on the higher mountain side of the main road through the valley the two units are quiet and private. They are beautifully clean and so well appointed. The spa is great, excellent heating in the bathroom as well as throughout the units, electric blankets, very comfortable beds, air conditioning, nice outdoor setting and BBQ at the back. There is a lot of information about the area and the owners live nearby and are lovely people. If the draping above the beds and the artificial flowers don't appeal to you I think they are the only things a traveller could dislike, so I have titled my review as 'perfect'. (Given my age and physical condition, a grab rail in the (beautiful) shower would have been a plus.) I stayed here awhile ago too. We booked both units and it was ideal for my family

Oh please do tell others about us, but we would love you to come back and visit again as well. We are sorry but unable to put a grab rail in those particular showers, however if only you had told us, you had problems with shower, we could have lent you a shower chair, for a more stable safe shower. Yes not every body likes our retro look, but most love it. Thank you so much for your post

Great basic accommodation to serve as a base camp while exploring everything Halls Gap has to offer. The beds were comfortable and allowed for a great nights sleep. Despite having neighbours we couldn't hear anything which was a bonus. The kitchen had all the amenities you could need. The spa provided a great way to relax after a day hiking up the mountains and breakfast on the patio allowed us to witness nature at the doorstep.

The owners, Barry and Renate were very friendly and welcoming. The muffins and coffee were delicious! The units are spacious, clean, tidy and very well equipped - they have thought of everything. The whole family had a great time bushwalking in the area and the spa was the perfect medicine for tired muscles. The township is within easy walking distance, as is the Brambuk Cultural Centre. When we return to Halls Gap, this is where we will be staying.

We are always amazed at the many kilometres you and your children walk every day to explore our lovely mountains, you must surely need a medal for the most walking done by such young children. Well done kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We found the price comparable, if not cheaper than a 2 room apartment at the caravan parks and other places. It is further back in the block and looks a bit dated, but inside has been freshly rennovated and is very spacious. Would definitely recommend it.
