We really enjoyed our two nights at Clare House. Everything was just perfect, the room, the breakfasts and especially the hospitality of Megan and Graeme. The attention to detail in our room and throughout the house is exceptional. Located easy walking distance to the shops and good eating places are "The Two Fat Men" and the Penny School. more

Clare House is simply faultless. The house and the rooms are beautifully restored. What really makes it are the personal touches provided by the owners, Megan and Graeme. They gave us with a warm welcome on arrival, complimentary cheese, wine and nibbles later in the afternoon and a fantastic three course breakfast the next morning. Maldon in general is well... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Clare House earlier this year, a delightful B&B located only a few minutes walk from Maldon town centre. The former gold town is quiet but a wonderful alternative to Daylesford, which has basically become chapel st relocated, but still within reach if you so desire. Clare House offers good access to the Goldfields area.... more
