The hotel is beautiful! The scenery is great and it was a wonderful place to visit. The hotel though is so large that you can get lost very easily. There are maps and the staff was very friendly and were eager to help me find my room and the conference center though. Lots and lots of walking though. The prices... more

This place is WAY, WAY overpriced. I don't even know where to begin. Much like the previous review, we were part of a large event that booked our rooms months ahead of time. We, too, received the bulk email about not being able to guarantee what kind of room we would receive (yes, AFTER, we reserved and paid for our... more

We reserved a double/double room MONTHS ago as part of an event held here. Last week, the entire block got an email from the Gaylord suggesting that we bring *sleeping bags* and our own pillows because the hotel was oversold. I was shocked at that, but doubly so when we got here and were told that our choices were a... more

Although a beautiful property, this place WILL rob you blind. During my extensive travels, I've seen outrageous food prices in hotels... but this place blows everything else I've ever seen out of the water. The food prices are ASTRONOMICAL! Plus, you'll pay an extra $15/day as a "resort" fee.... Plus, be prepared to pay $18-25 extra per day for parking... more

We stayed for two nights and the rooms were nice and the garden was beautiful but it was definitely not worth the price. Rooms are cheaper hotels are just as nice. We were charged $25.00 per day to valet park and the self service park is $18.00. There is a hotel fee of $15.00 for use of a fitness room... more

My daughter and I visited this hotel for one night on Monday, June 8th on our way to Florida. My daughter (11 yrs old) really wanted to stay here after seeing pictures online. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews about the cost and fees for everything but I figured we were having girl time without... more

We made a point to pay extra money to stay at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel because of its location. We overpaid for this experience...Motel 6 would have been better in my mind at least there you get what you pay for. I arrived at 4:30 well after their 3:00 check in time to find my room was not cleaned and... more

I booked a trip through Expedia for a long weekend to celebrate our 40th anniversary at this hotel and paid in full in March. I picked this hotel for its location and all the amenities it has to offer. Upon arrival I was rudely told we have no rooms and your reservations are canceled. I was told they credited my... more

I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland for a conference recently and thought it was beautiful. Although it was a very large property, after walking through a bit, it was very easy to find your way around. Certainly the scenery is magnificent. Our room was standard, clean and quiet. I found the convention facilities to be some of the best in... more

Place is massive. If you are going for business, make sure you do not get lost or you know your way around the hotel before your meeting. Restaurants in the hotel are very expensive. There are a couple of cool bars/pubs in the place. Jack Daniels pub had live bands playing on the weekends which were really cool. There's a... more
