I'm from California and have only been to Nashville two times, but in my opinion, there is no where else to stay than the Hermitage. To be fair, it isn't cheap, but it is worth it. We loved our time at the Hermitage! But the Oak Bar downstairs is not to be missed. It harkens back to a day of old. The atmosphere is good and the drinks are delicious. Don't miss the men's bathroom. With it's art deco feel and shoe shine stand in the middle. The ladies room was fine too!
