I took my wife to Nashville this fall to a class reunion. It was her first trip & I wanted it to be memorable. We selected the Wyndham Union Station. It was well worth doing. I had come in here more than once on the "Dixie Flyer" from my Grandparents home in Orlando as a teen. Not only has the... More

This is a great location. A short walk to the music venues. The common areas are gorgeous, as it's a former train station. The rooms, however, are matchbox size. Tiny, tiny rooms. There were two of us, and it was very uncomfortable. No room to even turn around in the bathroom. Old tub shower. Would not recommend staying here for... More

First, this is MARRIOTT, not Wyndham. Switch happened sometime in late 2011. This is one of the rarest of hotels -- historic, yet fabulous. We'll likely stay here during future visits to Nashville. Two dings, then the rest of the review is glowing. First, if hotels are going to put in tamper proof alarm clocks, they need to make sure... More

I must say, I was VERY impressed when I walked in the hotel. It was absolutely beautiful and spotless. The room was very nice and clean, the staff was friendly. Just beware if you are on the side of the building with the train tracks. The noise was terrible! The trains ran very late into the night and we started... More

Now that this place is part of Marriott, I thought I would try it out. Friendly greeting, helpful valet and front desk. Room on fourth floor, one level up from gorgeous lobby. Room smaller than I would have liked, but well appointed. Some train noise, but minimal. Bathroom tight, but amenities good. No meals, but generous large Starbucks free of... More

We recently stayed at this beautiful hotel. The service from the reception person Allison to the valet was extraordinary. We even received a historical review from one of the staff. We recommend you stay here. The beds are heavenly, the decor is vintage, an easy walk to anything downtown, the rooms are impeccable and the service is extraordinary. If you... More

Union Station is an impressive building, and the conversion from train station to luxury hotel was done with acute attention to detail. It was a joy to wander through the public spaces, take in the Christmas decorations, and pretend I was getting ready to be whisked away on a train ride. The staff were some of the friendliest and most... More

My husband and I stayed one nite for New Year's Eve. We have always wanted to stay here and decided NYE would be a great time to try it. I made the reservation early on December 5th on the Wyndham website for a king-sized bed guestroom. The price of the room was $329. I had looked on TripAdvisor at other... More

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting Nashville. Our room was beautiful - extrememly high ceilings. The lobby has kept all the charm of the original train station. If we have one complaint it is the over zealous valets. If you would like to park your own car, bypass the entrance and continue past the Flying Saucer Pub/Restaurant and... More
