Beware of a $11.77 booking fee when using the River Place Inn. This fee was not disclosed and the room charges are not refundable so you are stuck paying the fee. Also there is not a handicap room in this motel (even the check-in clerk confirmed this fact) even though a handicap room was booked. They do not even have... more

The motel is right on the Pigeon River. It was a beautiful location. We had a room on the ground floor, back door that opened onto a spacious yard on the river.
