Beware of booking with Lakefront Cabins. They are very unprofessional and very limited on business practice knowledge. Advertised price on their own website does not reflect was you will be charged. No disclosure of misc. fees and taxes until you are hit with it in the end. Lowered prices for the time of our stay but yet would not grant us the same courtesy of the lower price since we had reserved 2 month prior with only a verbal contract. We were also required to clean our vacation home, strip beds, start the laundry and remove garbage that we had accumulated for the week and drive 4+ miles away. There are many other places to stay at douglas lake and we as a family are looking into those for next year. Out of the 28 family members that stayed there, (most that had returned for their 6th year) at lakefront cabins, rest assured we will be spending our time and money elsewhere on doughlas lake for out future family vactions.
