We were in Shelbyville for a motocross event at Calsonic. We arrived on Friday and checked in and went straight to the event. We sat in a smelly exhaust filled arena for 13 hours. When we arrived at the hotel there was no hot water but we were told it was because everyone was taking showers at the same time since 95% of the occupancy was there for the race. When we got up the next morning we had the same problem. Got the same answer. I went to the front desk and was told by other patrons that the boiler had gone out the day before and the manager chose not to tell anyone because they would have people check out. I understand mechanical problems but the way they handled it was crap. They basically said "we're sorry, not our fault". I DEMANDED my money back and it took over an hour and several well placed promises to call the event coordinator and the editor of the local paper to get what I deserved. Stay elsewhere! more
