The Highland Manor has nice views of the cove and mountains and provides adequate rooms. Staff is helpful. The breakfast is just okay, although it would be perfectly fine for a lot of folks. This motel is located on beautiful grounds and sits up and back from the road so it's nice and quiet. It is near enough to (3) restaurants though that you can walk if you want. Attended a wedding in Townsend and several of the family stayed here. Office people were very accommodating and absolutely helpful. They knew everyplace to go and and several hidden gems. The rooms had fine views and housekeeping was first class. We were there for five days and the office suggested many good places to eat, locally. more
