This past November my mother passed away and her ashes were spread in Matagorda Bay. Her birthday is June 17th. Thursday, May 27, @ 6:30pm I made a reservation with the General Manager, Peter, for 2 rooms: 1 smoking and 1 non-smoking, 1 adult in each room, for the night of June 17th, my deceased mother's birthday. I gave him a credit card number to reserve the two rooms and asked for a confirmation number. One couldn't be provided to me at that time so I gave him my email address and requested a confirmation number be emailed as soon as one could be provided. As of the morning of Sunday, May 30th, that email had not yet been received. I immediately contacted the Econolodge in Bay City, where the original reservation was made and there was NO record of the reservation I made.
