This was my third visit to The Serengeti Resort. My first two visits were probably a 4 or 5 star. In the previous visits we had stayed in the outfitter tents and really enjoyed it. Since I had been such a big fan of this place, I convinced some friends to go with me and enjoy the beauty. We had... More

We stayed 2 nights in the outfitter tents and loved it. It is camping with convenience. We made use of the mobile A/C in the tent. We enjoyed the breakfasts over the animal park. We cooked out and spent hours out feeding and taking photos of the animals. We had a wine tasting. We adopted a pet for the weekend... More

I have stayed at the resort several times now and I always have a great time! The rooms are beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the animals are too cool! The Giraffe will walk right up to you! Clyde the Camel even tried to steal my coke one time!!! I always enjoy my stay... More

I read all the reviews the day before we left home for our two day stay at the Serengeti Resort so I was a little nervous but figured that at least we were bringing our RV so we would have everything we needed for our comfort. I shouldn't have worried though, because the resort was everything we could have asked... More

I came to stay with my husband and 2 boys - we had an amazing time! We were looking for a way we could relax, and this was it! There was so much room for our kids to run and play, which is a luxury they don't often have living in the suburbs, and the scenery is beautiful! We stayed... More

We were so excited to "experience" the Serengeti, but the property definitely appears more appealing and more elegant on the website. (Had we read the reviews here first, we would likely have had lower expectations and might have been pleasantly surprised, as a result.) The Serengeti is a fabulous concept, but the execution is lacking, somehow. It must take an... More

We stayed in one of the tents and had a blast! I'm a huge animal lover so the dogs, cat, camel, ostriches, giraffe, zebras, lemurs and group of deer were more than enough for me to enjoy. But if you're looking for elephants and anything not listed above, you'll be disappointed. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful. You... More

We stayed two nights at the Bungalow and enjoyed the Wild Wine, Food & Music Festival. The staff were very friendly and accomadating. The Bungalows are a little expensive but they are big enough to comfortably accomadate two familys. The patio is huge and the view was wonderful. It was great!!

Just came back from 2 nights in the tents and can't wait to go back! It is camping - so bring the supplies you need. But it is nice staying in a tent with a floor and real beds, lighting and either heater or AC. It was really chilly both nights but we were provided with a space heater, extra... More

I have stayed in both the tent and the bungalow. I prefer the bungalow which is gorgeously decorated, has a balcony overlooking the serengeti, lots of seating, a TV and it's own bathroom! The tent is great to come with a bunch of people and "rough it" in style and in a bed! With your own open space and place... More
