Everything we wanted- nice room, close to WTAMU campus, breakfast (free & yummy) plus pool, fitness center, laundry, in room fridge, business center to print boarding passes. All at a terrific military rate. We were set! If you're in canyon tx for any reason, this is definitely the place to stay.

Very disappointed. Usually stay in Holiday Inn Express, HEI, just across the street but they were booked. Hotels and rooms looked like a throwback to the 80's but it's only 3-4 years old. I concur with others giving this place a good review. It's not a palace, but if you're looking for a better-than-decent hotel in Canyon (or perhaps even if you have business in Amarillo), this would be a good choice. We stayed here while visiting Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. There are not many places open for breakfast in town so you need to eat it at the hotel. It is located right on the road to the park.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Room 307. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is available but we did not have that. We have heard some not so good stories about this hotel, but we had a good time visiting a relative at WTAM and would probably stay here again.

Granted I arrived at the hotel two hours before the designated check-in, but upon walking up to the desk, there was no clerk.
