The Childress Comfort Inn does most everything right. The place is showing its age, but the room was clean and well-maintained. The A/C system was loud and the temperature varied quite a bit during the night. The exterior walls are thin, and we knew exactly when other travelers drove up. But we didn't hear any noise from the adjoining rooms. The breakfast room is pleasant and well stocked, but the choice are somewhat limited compared to other hotels. The desk clerks were both very pleasant. One complaint: Choice Hotels have terrible pillows. We stayed in four of them on this trip, and all of them had the same pillows. Bring your own if you can. more
