I stayed here for 4 nights during a recent business trip. The hotel is in a great location near major highways and tons of restaurants. The interior looks a little dated but I would recommend if you can get a good deal (i.e. priceline) more

The Intercontinental Addison is a pretty hotel in a great location - hard to beat the dining selections available within a mile of the hotel...perhaps hundreds. But we had a number of issues, most especially the temperature. The ballroom hovered around 65 degrees for our two days of meetings, fine for some but cold for others. The exhibit hall never... more

I've stayed here several times, twice for conferences, once for a wedding, each stay was fine. Most recently, I was attending a conference at another hotel, and I got a deal on this one through Hotwire for $81/night. I think the normal rate is upwards of $160. The inside is a bit dark, but clean. Checkin staff was friendly, parking... more

Why do the most expensive hotels charge for internet access - and in this case, access that worked sporatically. I had to end up replacing not only the wire (since wireless and wired are billed seperately, you must choose one or the other or pay twice!!!!) provided in my room, but also the in-room modem before getting any consistant service.... more

Stayed at this hotel for a convention that was being held there. I would be weary if you are looking for a place to hold buisiness meetings. The food was mediocre at best. The hotel staff consistently were taking away the refreshments early and there were issues with hotel billing. Although I was not on the conference staff I was... more

First of all, I understand that this hotel probably runs above $150-ish per night at the regular rates. However, I got a great deal on hotwire well below what you would pay to stay at even a Holiday Inn or La Quinta, so to get a "4 star" hotel at such a great price, how could I complain about anything?... more

Really liked this hotel, with complimentary shuttle service to the shopping mall, the staff were nice and they expect a good tip for serving you as this is part of their wages, they looked after us well, but make sure you do not ask a waitress from another table for something as it wont appear, (shes not getting the tip)... more

Hotel was nice looking on the outside. The inside smelled like a mausoleum and the pool was DISGUSTING, there was junk floating around inside of it and it looked like it hadn't been maintained in a long time. The beds were very small and and the pillows were lumpy. Our comforter also had a blood stain on it. This is... more

Pros: large rooms; comfortable bed; large meeting spaces, lobby, and bar; free outside parking; six elevators and one was always available; close to galleria and good food. Cons: hotel showing a little age; expensive internet; free parking sometimes limited; location a little difficult to get in and out of. Overall, this is a fine hotel but nothing outstanding. We would... more

We stayed at this hotel while we were in Addison for a wedding. We stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed the hotel except for a few things. Be aware that if you choose to park in the garage ($10/day) there are no in and out privileges. Free parking was available but sometimes hard to find. The website stated that rooms... more
