We booked four nights here and moved after the second. The location does not seem to be safe and the area is seedy. We asked around and were told that since new lights were put up in the parking lot, the car break-ins weren't as bad....it's not an area you want to take a walk in. The rooms are OK,... more

Hotel demanded to make a copy of my drivers license upon check-in because I was a priceline customer. Very low ceilings in hallways, and bathroom. Unsightly trash cans at both ends of the hall. Very thin walls requiring assistance from hotel security because of "people going at it" in the middle of the night. I could even hear the phone... more

This hotel had ONE thing going for it -- the price. The rooms were a tad tired although the TVs were great. The hotel had ZERO information on local sites, no maps, no concierge, nothing. The staff tried to be helpful but didn't really have much knowledge. Free parking was nice, hotel is in a tad of a dicey neighborhood,... more

This is a decent business class hotel. Everything you need is in the hotel, and is within driving distance of great restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood around theh otel is not sll that great, but is convenient to Love Field, medical canter, Trade Center, etc. Stayed here for a business conference. Facilities adequate, food adequate. Good breakfast buffet. Rooms very... more

I stayed in this hotel for a business trip (I am from Hungary) and I think it is good. The location is not very nice, but if you rent a car then who cares? West Village is not so far (2 miles) and it is very nice, with some good restaurants (Tom Tom Asian Grill for example). If you want... more

Stayed in this hotel for two nights, and have some serious complaints about the hotel itself. Good things ....a small full-service restaurant (with a nice, inexpensive breakfast buffet) and a pool that looked (I didn't actually use it) very nice. There were some problems with cleanliness & Air conditioner. The front desk staff were not very friendly. Not overtly rude. One of... more

Stayed in this hotel for two nights, and have no serious complaints about the hotel itself. It was a pretty typical Doubletree, with acceptable, clean rooms, a small full-service restaurant (with a nice, inexpensive breakfast buffet) and a pool that looked (I didn't actually use it) very nice. There were some problems with the elevators, and they had pieces of... more

I've come to expect comfortable, clean rooms at Doubletree and this was no exception. The immediate neighborhood is a little "transitional", but we experienced no security concerns or problems. We didn't try the small hotel restaurant or bar - unless you're without a car, Dallas has far more appealing options. The small outdoor pool was very nice and has a... more
