We spent a weekend at the Fairmont and found it very pleasant and comfortable. It is rather like a very nice old-fashioned hotel in ambience, with modern amenities. Our room was very good, with expansive view. The only particularly disappointing thing was breakfast in dining room: buffet food was cold, stale and pretty tasteless. more

I recently stayed at the Fairmont Dallas and as usual with any Fairmont it was truely top notch. From the time arrived to check out I felt well taken care of and enjoyed the big D experience! Best of all are some of the amazing rates they offer, some nights under $100. Most other places in Dallas with their quality... more

So I stayed here for a weekend night with some friends. The lobby was nice and quite impressive but the room wasn't that clean and the hallway was in need of some serious renovations. The pool was fantastic. with a great view of the city The location was excellent. I some how got a fantastic deal on the hotel off... more

I loved staying at the Fairmont. One thing though, be sure to have backup cash after checkout. The minibar in the room is super pricey. On top of that WiFi is not free. It's 13.00 for 24 hours. Most cheaper chained hotels have free WiFi and with the price of the rooms, WiFi SHOULD be included. On their website, it's... more

We have stayed at Fairmonts all over the US. This one is one of the older Fairmonts, but still very nice. We had a suite which was definitely very spacious. We notified the front desk that it was our anniversary prior to arrival, and we were greated wtih a lovely dessert sampler with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. That was... more

I have stayed at the Fairmont three times in the past three months. Once I got a kind of tired room in the south tower. The second time I got a club level room in the north tower (verrry nice). The third time I got what looked like an updated room in the south tower. Things I like: the first... more

Staff was wonderful. And the lobby was nice, but dated. The bar was packed during the evening, so I am unable to comment. The room didn't look remotely like any of the guest pictures on this website. There was NO art on the walls. None. And the furniture that didn't look like it was from the 80s, looked like it... more

I have stayed in the Fairmont three times in the last 2 months. I compared prices at other hotels (Mansion on Turtle Creek, Ritz Carlton) and found prices to be half as much. Stayed in the "Gold" rooms with complimentary club room. Over all an outstanding value. Only negative was the restaurant (Pyramid) which was substandard. more

We visited Dallas for the Paul McCartney concert and stayed at the Fairmont. Would go back again, rooms were clean, service was good. Good lounge area, drinks very pricey though, not a surprise given it is a downtown hotel.Pool area was great,it was clean, good after a day around town. Very comfortable bed too. Maybe the only issue was the air conditioner was a little... more
