A great Staff, obviously well trained and dedicated to service, food and service excellent, the physical property is ttired, TVs not working, noisy ventialtion and premises, very sad excersize facility. Overall a reasonable location, close to the trolley and tram, 8 blocks to convention center, i would not choose to stay here again until the physical property improves. More

Excellent stay in this hotel, we booked something that was a bit above average price so expected a decent hotel, and we were pleasantly suprised by the standard of the Fairmont. great customer service, lovely rooms, friendly staff. Also nice swimming pool and pool service. i got the feeling this predominantlly a hotel for businness men/women but there were also... More

I stayed at Fairmont for a work conference. I changed my first room in the south tower because during the night it was very noisy due to a generator or some type of loud air system behind the wall in the foyer area. The 2nd room in north tower was quiet but instead of a nice Sony clock radio it... More

The Fairmont Hotel is located in the artist center and is greatly reachable and only 25 min distance from the airport, almost downtown. We had a very pleasant stay, however, the service was somehow 'very professional' instead of warm and obliging.... We stayed for 4 days during the week and had a great suite at the executive level – plenty... More

I stayed in a lovely room on a high floor. The room itself was immaculate, the view was great, and the hotel itself was warm and well-appointed, with nice touches like excellent, non-glaring bathroom lighting and artwork in the lobby. The staff I encountered were uniformly efficient and kind, and I walked to all of my downtown business meetings. A... More

This was a conference stay for me and as I'd booked late, there wasn't a lot of choice left for hotels near the Convention Center. I'd stayed at other Fairmont properties, so this seemed like a good choice. Fantastically comfortable bed. Housekeeping was good, but not great--it didn't look like anyone had really LOOKED at the room as the valance... More

Went to Dallas on a business trip. Stayed at Fairmont, room was large, clean, it was fine. Over zealous maid threw out my unread newspaper...and I am still waiting for the management to call me back. After breakfast, I waited and waited to pay, and I had to track someone down to pay (apparently, my waiter was sent to lunch... More

I arrived on a business trip to find I had been upgraded to a suite. Very nice! The room was a bit dated, but clean. Good location in downtown. I do wish that they had vending machines. The gift shop sold sodas, but they were expensive. The hotel restaurant was also expensive but served wonderful food. The staff were extremely... More

Roomy, clean, but battered table in the sitting room. I paid $37 for room service of nachos and Coke. Absurdly pretentious, overpriced menu in the Pyramid Restaurant. Bar food lacks character--there's no Southwest item available. Poor bar service. My phone cut out regularly, requiring expensive redials. Engineer said stop using the phone. Low bathroom water pressure. Nice people take complaints... More
