If you take into consideration that it is a motel just next to a highway, the rooms are clean and comfy, staff is helpfull and the value for the price is good. The location is excellent for first time visitors.

I stayed here in March and was able to keep my tiny dog. The beds were nice and comfy. Restaurant within walking distance. Pros: Great location and price. Near restaurants, shops, a mall, and SMU. The breakfast was decent and the rooms were clean. Ten ten minutes from downtown by car. We try to stay at La Quinta locations whenever possible. We have always been satisfied. This particular location was particularly pleasant due to the fantastic staff. Everyone we encountered made us feel so welcomed and special. They were friendly, very helpful, and appeared to really enjoy their jobs. Great first impression, lovely decor, great food, and the beds were so comfortable, we overslept...all three nights. Walking distance to many eateries. This is our hotel of choice for the last five years while our daughter was in college...now she lives here..but we feel at home at La Quinta...
