I love TripAdvisor and need to do a much better job of posting reviews. Now, with that comment, let me get to the Renaissance Dallas. I stayed at this hotel from 9/28 through 10/2 and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is an extremely easy 20-minute drive from the airport. I did not use valet parking as there was... more
I started staying here on business because the price was right and the location worked. I travel every week for work, and the constant travel gets exhausting. This hotel has a way of making your "work travel" fun. They have "movie night" in the concierge club on Wednesday nights, and one morning, I woke up to the General Manager cooking... more
Stayed here this past labor day weekend for three nights for a family reunion. We are from Los Angeles, I really think we got more bang for our buck...We got the room at $79 a night vs. the $89 for the reunion rate. Nice light fixture in the middle of the hotel that takes you by surprise when you walk... more
We stayed at the Renaissance for our 33rd anniversary. This hotel was very nice, very friendly staff. We had a room without a view at first, the staff quickly moved us to a queen beds, with a view. After returning from the pool we wanted to nap. Hey, this is what the weekends are for right? Well the people in... more
The service when you arrive is on par with a 4 or 5 star hotel. Our room was on the 20th floor and faced the medical center. The room was a bit musty - probably difficult to air out on the 20th floor with 100 degree temps outside, but still a little bothersome. Beds are comfortable, pillow selection was wierd... more
This hotel was like a breath of fresh air after my previous stay in a different hotel that i would describe as a breath of sewage. The rooms were clean. They gym had descent equipment. The view was pleasant. The rooms were nicely air conditioned without any loud noises. There was some noise in the halls but whatever that's a... more
We got the King Tut package which along with our tickets to the exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, included a King size bed and the breakfast buffet at the Charisma restaurant. We had a great stay! We loved the room--lots of soft, comfortable bedding, flat screen TV, mini-refrigerator, valuables safe, internet connection, large desk space, lots of storage,... more
Just finished 3 nights here working for a client in the local area. Due to my colleague's status w/Marriott, we were upgraded to the Club level w/connecting rooms. These have to be some of the biggest rooms I've seen in a hotel (see pictures), though the bathrooms are surprisingly small considering the size of the guest room. The bathroom is... more
We just returned from 2 overnights at the Dallas Renaissance. We really enjoyed our short stay. The service was great and everyone that we came in contact with was helpful and made us feel welcome. The Club Lounge was convenient and cozy. Our room was on the 28th floor with a great view of downtown. We had a King room... more
