This was an excellent property for a girls weekend. Being connected to the mall makes it convenient for shopping and great restuarant selection. The room was spacious and nicely upgraded. Stayed at this location over the New Year's weekend. Great Hotel, Great Location! Be sure to check out the on-site gym. One of the best I have ever seen at a hotel. Also the dining here is fab! Can't go wrong with a stay here. more

Recently renovated Westin is a great homebase for Dallas shopping and sightseeing. Galleria mall is upscale and has a cool ice skating rink in the middle. Very nice restaurants throughout the area. 20 minutes from downtown Dallas. Easy free parking or pay for the valet. more

Location, location, location. While the beds are "heavenly" and comfortable AND the access to holiday shopping at the Galleria is priceless, I was most disappointed in our room. Don't let the bad reviews scare you, this is a fantastic hotel. Anyone who doesn't like this hotel must be used to staying at the Ritz or maybe can afford a $1,000 a night hotel. The staff was so helpful and friendly at this hotel. They truly made my stay enjoyable. I did not like that we had to pay for the internet service in our room so the lobby was covered with people sitting everywhere to get free internet service.
