If you're heading to southern Texas... and I mean SOUTHERN Texas near Mexico, this is a pretty nice hotel. Its in the town of Edinburg, Tx located right off of the highway. Ok, I've never heard of this town either until I had to go there for business.

My first impression, based on outwardly appearance, was that this place is very clean. They have a nice pool area and the rooms surround it. Its located next to a major movie theatre and a not so nice restaurant next door. There is a very clean gas station just at the edge of the parking lot for you to get gas and any late night snacks.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the service was friendly and professional. The room has microwave and a small fridge. I don't know if they had an iron and ironing board in the room but then, I was living out of a bag and didn't care. There is also a table with two chairs and then a desk on the other side of the room. I think they had over 60 channels on cable... more
