I'm rating this hotel average for one main reason, lack of soundproofing in the walls and between the floors. On the night of our stay there was a wedding reception on the other side of the hotel. I could clearly hear the song "purple rain" being karaoked in my room from across the hotel. I can only imagine what that sounded like if you had a room right by the reception. Fortunately the reception ended before we needed to get to bed, but I should not be able to CLEARLY hear the conversations of the people above me while my ceiling creaked and groaned as they stepped heavily across their floor.
On the plus side the hotel is nicely appointed. The reception area/breakfast area is nicely appointed with marble tables, plenty of seating and two large LCD flats screens.
